Tiffany directed the Award Winning US Small Business Administration Women’s Business Center and launched the first business incubator serving disadvantaged women in Washington State.

 

Developed the Tulalip Indian Nation’s Entrepreneurial Development Center operated from the local Chamber of Commerce office.

 

Created, funded, and implemented a Latino, Women, and Minority Business Assistance Center and Micro Loan Fund to serve the mostly unbanked communities in rural northwest Washington.

Tiffany McVeety is a recognized thought leader in the art of the start.  She learned the trade from some of the most prolific serial entrepreneurs in Washington.  Tiffany was the first employee of TeraBeam Networks (NASDAQ:TRBM) and has worked with other visionary leaders of innovative companies.  

 

She directed, developed, and launched several award-winning and internationally recognized business incubation programs. Some recognitions for her initiatives include:

 

Washington State Governor’s “Innovation Award” Finalist

Washington State Association of Chambers of Commerce “Most Innovative Program that Mobilizes Communities Award”

Washington State Association for Small Business Incubators (WASBI) "Rookie of the Year Award”

 

Tiffany has a unique ability to mobilize resources- time, talent, and capital- to support entrepreneurs.  After serving as director of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, Tiffany formed VC Team, an investment banking company that helped fund women-led technology and life sciences ventures.  She co-founded Tech Views, a series of investment match-making soirees that connected entrepreneurs with over $50 million in capital. She founded and funded the LWM Loan Fund, a micro-loan fund that leveled the playing field for Latino, Women and Minority business owners. And most recently, she co-founded GROW Washington, the premiere product-focused business incubator in that state. In less than one year, the new micro-enterprise development organization has mentored over 300 businesses, secured five investments for clients ranging from $1,000 to $150,000, launched 14 new businesses, and created over 30 jobs.    

 

Tiffany has delivered over 200 custom presentations to groups from 500 to five, global and local, for organizations like the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Navy Transitional Assistance Program, the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA), and small cities seeking to vitalize their business communities.  

 

Throughout the Entrepreneurial Edge Series of guidebooks, she distills complex business hurdles into simple solutions and strategies the very small business owner can take to the bank. Her experience in business and as a banker, Tiffany was number one ranked small business banker for Washington Mutual and an international small business business banker wit h HSBC, give you an edge.
